The Brown Alumni Association of Northern California is one of many Brown University alumni associations across the country and around the world. We have a strong affiliation with the University, but are operated as an independent, local organization.

Geographically, the Brown Alumni Association of Northern California covers the region from Monterey northward, with the biggest concentration of membership in the San Francisco Bay Area with over 5,000 alumni in the region.

Organizationally, the Association encompasses all of the various committees for Brown alumni regional involvement, such as Brown Alumni Schools Committee (BASC–applicant interviews), Cultural & Social, Community Service, Young Alumni, etc., and is run by a board of officers and other key committee members.

Our goal is to keep the Brown community in this region thriving and to provide a rewarding connection to the University community at large. We endeavor to serve our own local Brown community, as well as sponsor activities to enrich the lives of our members.
